  I would only recommend this hotel to others if they weren´t going to buy breakfast. on our 4 night stay we only had breakfast once (the first morning) on the hotel.

  Personnel pas du tout accueillant ni souriant, petit déjeuner se rapprochant plus d'une cantine, est-ce digne d'un hôtel??? aucun effort fait pour accueillir des français!! (même pas de café fait maison) entretient des sanitaires à revoir!

  Très bon séjour avec une chambre très spacieuse, seul petit bémol la chambre d'à cotè était relié avec une porte et l'isolation était très mauvaise

  We very much enjoyed our stay at the troy hotel and would definitely stay there on our next trip to london. location is excellent, near queensway tube, across street from kensington park. continental breakfast quite satisfactory.

  I might recommend it. i would highly recommend a better sound insulation (associated with an increase of the room price). otherwise, the hotel is fine. breakfast can also substantially be improved.

  Room was reasonable size for a single, comfortable, clean and with spotless en suite(with powerful shower and basic toiletries).perfect for overnight in london and a bargain £55. no air con but windows which open and fan provided. good continental breakfast. excellent location

  The rooms in london are notoriously small and the room with the single bed i stayed in was no exception. the hotel and room was clean overall, not immaculate, but quite clean enough for me to feel comfortable. the hotel, room and en suite bathroom had all been somewhat updated and i felt quite comfortable. the troy is very close to bus and tube, hyde park, and ammenities. the lift was broken when i arrived and i had to lug my heavy awkward bag up to the 5th floor without assistance, but later in the day it was working again. i was quite pleased with my stay; considering the price i paid, i feel i received good accommodations.

  The room was indeed very small, but acceptable for a married couple. for two friends it could be difficult. sound isolation was poor (windows and walls), but luckily we seemed to have quiet neighbours. a special plus to the toilet/shower room, which was much above "london standards" in this price range. as a whole a recommendable hotel.

  Would have liked a little bit more effort on the drinks facilities in the room - only the very basic supplies of tea and coffee and the plastic 'thing' to stir virtually melted! also, would like to see a little more choice on the breakfast choices (even for a continental breakfast it was short on just about everything - except the jams, etc.)

  My single room was tiny. there were three closets: one for clothes, one with had a sink and basin, and one with a shower. the shower is a very tight fit and it would surely be hard for someone more overweight to take a shower in it... but overall i thought the room was perfect. location is beside two stations, circle and central, and yet it is on a quiet street... and sleeping was uninterrupted. i will stay here again.

  I really like this hotel and have stayed her twice before, however on this occasion although the room i booked was clean i thought that the furnishings were a little grubby and old unfortunately - i was also disapointed to find that my original booking price quoted did not include vat so was not the actual full price which i had thought it was - beware!

  La salle de bains est mal agencée et trop petite pour 2 par rapport à la chambre, la douche est petite. le petit dejeuner est vraiement très ordinaire et pas de la qualité d'un trois etoiles

  Freundliches personal, zimmer waren sauber, die auswahl beim frühstück beschränkte sich leider nur auf gekochte eier, eine käsesorte, oliven, eine sorte müsli und drei sorten marmelade - wer gerne ausgiebig frühstückt, dem mag das vielleicht zu wenig sein, uns hat es gereicht, zimmer nach hinten war sehr ruhig und nett eingerichtet, sehr gute anbindung an die tube, in den hyde park/kensington gardens nur 1 minute zu fuß. wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen.

  Les chambres sont propres, le staff est acceuillant et parle français! c'etait un plaisir de sejourner dans cet hotel.
