Mauvaise isolation, accès wifi très cher, service à l'anglaise : on paie d'abord et on voit après ce que l'on obtient

The room wasn't ready for check-in at 2 o'clock - and when we returned at a quarter to 3 it still wasn't ready. the breakfast buffet was at times almost emty, and the staff was very slow in filling it up again, there was no glasses for the juice and plates for the food, and you had to ask for it - it wasn't filled up by the staff, though they knew it was missing. the room was very small and it was rather worn

I felt that the hotel lacked a place to unwind at night it could do with a bar so as guests can have a drink then off to bed.

We would only recommend this hotel to family and friends if they could be assured, at the time, of booking of the size of room booked. ours during our last visit was very small, the bed only being a 4ft one instead of a normal 4ft 6". we have stayed at his hotel a few times in the past, this was by far our worst visit because of the tiny room etc., not sure that we would return again, shame as it is so very central.

Room and corridor smelt of cigarette smoke. furniture very tatty and many items unusable/broken large threadbare patch in carpet mold in bathroom and holes in bath panel no means of keeping window blind up sash window slipped so it was either shut or more open than you would want however my request for a quiet room had been met, and the room was satisfyingly dark with the blind shut

The only negative thing was that in the bathroom the bathtub itself had holes in it. spend a few pounds to get it fixed and it will look a lot better. besides that, the staff was helpfull and friendly. the hotel location is excellent for the price range. the rooms are, there is no denying it, small, but i didn't come to london to sit in my room all day, so this isn't a negative point for me. the beds were good, that's the important thing.
